The most common reason for teachers to be unable to see a student's account is that the student has not selected a class section that the teacher has access to.
Solution
The solution is to help the student select your class section the next time they log into Texas College Bridge. You can send them to the student-facing instructions on how to to select or edit a class section.
Once they have selected your class section, you should have access to their account.
A less common issue is that the student may not have the correct High School selected. The process to correct the problem is the same.
Getting Help
If no one at your school can view the student's account, then you can ask your ISD administrator for help, or reach out to the EdReady support team by using the "Help" button at the bottom of the screen or the "Submit a support ticket" link at the top.
Be sure to include the following information in your request. This information should reflect the exact information the student used when they registered. We recommend asking the student rather than using official school records, as it is frequently different.
- Student's first and last name.
- Username they log in with. << very important, as we must identify the student across the entire system, not just your class or school.
- Email address they used when they registered. (If they do not remember, provide both school and personal addresses for best results.)
- Exact and complete name of the class section they should be added to.
