New Student Accounts
-
New students will register with new registration URLs for this year. Your ISD Administrator has been instructed to share these links with you. As you onboard new students, take advantage of the following support materials.
- Monitor your students progress from the start of the year and be sure they are visible on the "Manage" tab. To avoid students having to start over, please review this article: How To Identify Student Working on the Wrong EdReady Site
Returning Student Accounts
-
Returning / continuing students should log into their existing EdReady account. DO NOT permit them to create a new account.
- When students log in for the first time, they will be automatically added to this year's cohort.
-
If they do not remember their login details, encourage them to reset their password. This will result in an email that contains their username and a temporary password to get back into the system.
-
If a student does not see the correct subject(s) on their dashboard, any teacher or administrator who can see or edit the student account can add subjects. If you need to update information for several students, use the bulk edit functionality.
-
If you cannot see the student’s account, check two things:
-
They may not be assigned to this year's cohort. The solution is simply for the student to log in. When returning students log in for the first time, they will be assigned to this year's cohort automatically.
-
Be sure that the student has updated their High School and / or Section assignments so that you have permission to see them. Share these student-facing instructions.
-
-
-
All study path progress for continuing students will start from scratch (with the initial diagnostic for Stage 1). If a student studied this subject last year but did not earn their certificate, their increased knowledge levels should be reflected by their diagnostic performance, empowering them to quickly work through previously mastered material.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
-
All students should verify that their first and last names match the official school record and verify that both their email address and date of birth are correct. Share these student-facing instructions.
Curriculum and Completion Requirements
-
Based on feedback from our college partners, additional content has been added to Math Stage 2. The other stages remain unchanged.
-
Review the scope and sequence and completion requirements here: Math | English.
-
Remember: English instructors need to provide and grade the student essay assignment, and enter the grade into EdReady for students to earn their English certificate.
-
Make sure you stay up-to-date on the current list of institutions that accept Texas College Bridge certifications and share this information with your students.
