IMPORTANT: You can only reset your password once every 24 hours. The temporary password you receive will be good for 24 hours, after which time you can request a new temporary password if needed. If you run into trouble, ask your instructor to assist you.
Request a new Password
If you need to reset your password, visit: https://texascollegebridge.nrocportal.org/forgot-password
Or click the Forgot Password link on the login page:
You will be taken to a page where you can request a temporary password:
Select the confirmation method you used when you registered with Texas College Bridge (Email or Phone Number) and then enter the email address or phone number you used during registration in the textbox. Click the Submit button.
If you see an error message, ensure that you have provided the correct information.
On the next screen, click the Send button to have a temporary password sent to your email or phone number.
Receive Temporary Password
Check your email account or phone - you should have received a message like this:
You can click on the link in this message, or visit the login page: https://texascollegebridge.nrocportal.org
Select new Password
On the Login page, enter your username and the temporary password provided in the Reset Password message:
On the Update Password page, enter your Temporary Password in the Current Password field.
Enter your new password in the New Password and again in the Confirm New Password fields. Your Texas College Bridge Password must be least 8 characters, contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one special character (!.@#$&*), and one numeral.
Click the Save button to save your new password.
Your new password will save - you can now log in with this password the next time you visit Texas College Bridge.
