How to add a Goal / Subject (student instructions)

If you already have an existing Texas College Bridge account (if you signed up in a previous school year or a different class), you should NOT make a new account to study an additional subject. 

Instead, you should have the extra subject you need added to your account. There are two ways that this can happen:

1. Add the subject to your own account: 
   1. Get the goal key from your teacher or local TCB contact
   2. On your student dashboard, click the Enter a key to join a goal button
      
      • NOTE: this MUST be the page you land on when you first log in: if you clicked the View goals dashboard button, you have already passed the page you need. Go back or log in again so that your screen matches the view shown above.
   3. In the pop-up window, enter the goal key for the subject you want to join. The goal key is case-sensitive, so make sure you enter all lowercase letters and type it in exactly. When you are done, click the Enroll button.
      
   4. If you need to add more than one subject, complete the steps above for each subject you want to add.
   5. The goal(s) you added will now be available on your student dashboard.
      
       
2.  Your teacher or someone at your school/ ISD can add the subject to your account
   1. First, be sure you have selected your teacher's class section (student instructions HERE).
   2. Then, ask your teacher to add the subject (teacher instructions HERE).
