The Active Reader in the English study materials has an audio "lens" along with several other lenses to help the student's comprehension of the passage. The audio lens can read the text to you, while you are viewing it on screen.
The screenshots below will help you locate this feature.
Click on the "Learn" button on any Reading topic:
Then, click on the Active Reader icon on the left sidebar:
When you have the reading materials open, look for the +Audio label on the lens sidebar (located on the right side of the screen) and click it to open the audio lens. Then you can click the play button to hear the audio read aloud.
