If a student has joined a goal that they should not be working on, users with the ISD Administrator role can remove goal(s) from student accounts.
| NOTE: The instructions below will only work for a user who is an "ISD Administrator." If you are a Teacher, School Administrator, or Reporting-Only user, you do not have the necessary permissions to remove goals from student accounts. Ask your local ISD Administrator for help completing the tasks below for your students. |
- Log into Texas College Bridge, then click the Manage Account button
- Click on the Students tab
- Click the Edit button (
) for the student whose goals you want to change
- Click on the student's Goals tab
- All the goals that you have permission to see are listed. If the student is enrolled in the goal, you can remove it by clicking the Delete icon (
) in that goal's row
- You will see a pop-up message asking if you are sure you want to delete the goal assignment. Click Confirm to remove the goal from the student's account. (Click Cancel to leave the goal assigned.)
- You will see an on-screen confirmation message, but the on-screen display may not automatically update. If you refresh your screen then you will see the goal has been removed.
Note: student goal assignments are managed in two places, which are kept in sync each time the student logs in. If you remove a goal from a student's account, you may still see the student in the reports for that goal until the next time the student logs in.
