The EdReady platform uses CAPTCHA (which stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") technology to identify suspicious user behavior in a study path.
This functionality will flag a student’s account for any behavior that appears to be non-human, such as that generated by a bot or plugin. This functionality works behind the scenes, invisibly checking factors such as speed of clicking and movement of the mouse to determine whether it reflects genuine human interaction.
If the functionality determines that a student’s behavior is suspicious, the student will immediately be blocked from using their study path. When a student is blocked in this way, the student will see a message that includes this code: 2AICH1520. (Note: Students are not shown a code when study path access is blocked manually, so a "Code" is a clue that a student was blocked for concerning behavior.)

As an instructor or admin, you will see a CAPTCHA warning on the student's account in the Group Summary Report as shown in this screenshot:

Analyze Validity of Student Work
If a student is blocked, review the student's progress: check the validity of their work and discuss the situation with the student.
Here is a video demonstrating some ways you can verify that a student is doing their own work in the system:
As the instructor, you have two options to proceed depending on your findings and the guidelines your school/district provides for situations of potential academic dishonesty.
Option 1: Reset Student Progress
If you determine that the student was using outside influences to work through the program and would like to have us reset the student's progress, please fill out this form.
Option 2: Unblock Student
If you determine there was no external influence or you will give the student another opportunity to work on their own, you can restore access to their account by following these instructions.
Once unblocked, the student can continue to make progress in their study path. If the system identifies concerning behavior in the future, they can be blocked again.
