The following points may be helpful for you as you are studying the "Learn" resources in EdReady.
- The study materials do not count toward your overall EdReady score. They are designed to prepare you for the "Test" section.
- Your scores on study resources are not saved. Your teacher cannot see them.
- In English, your "My Journal" writing assignments are not saved. You can save them offline if you wish by copying/pasting them into a text editor.
- In English, be sure to pay attention to the resource icons on the left side of the screen.
- In Math, be sure to read the "Topic Text" thoroughly and answer the questions. This will prepare you well for the topic tests. The videos, worked examples, and practice tests will also help you, but the meat of the instruction is in the Topic Text and it covers everything you need for the test.
- Your progress may be saved temporarily in some sections of math materials, but it will only last for the session. If you leave the study materials, you will be effectively starting over.
- Your teacher can see how much time you have spent studying and exactly which resources you studied in preparation for each test.
- Your teacher can see if you are testing over and over instead of studying the material in the "Learn" section.
The "Learn" section is designed to help you learn. All the resources you need to study are included. Only the "Test" section counts toward your overall EdReady score. You can study as much as you need to in the "Learn" section, and you can repeat the content as much as needed without penalty.
