The most common reason for the temporary password not working is that it was mistyped. We recommend copy/pasting it from the email you received, rather than trying to type it out.
Also, if you have requested more than one temporary password, be sure to check the time stamp on the email. Each request overrides the previous one, so only the most recent one will work.
Here are a few more tips to help you overcome temporary password issues:
- Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure you are typing it precisely.
- Watch out for "whitespace" (blank spaces before or after your password).
- Start your login process from the normal login page, not from a page where you are already seeing an error message.
- Be sure that your browser or password manager is not entering a saved password or overriding what you typed.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Bad data in your cache may result in the temporary password not being recognized.
