Overview
If you have multiple student accounts that need the same update applied, you can take advantage of the Bulk Actions capabilities to apply the same update to a set of students at once.
The updates that are available through the Bulk Actions are:
- Add a Subject (Goal) to student accounts: students sign up to study specific subjects (math, English, or both) based on the registration link that they use. If they sign up to study one subject and need the other subject added, you can do that subject assignment via the Batch Update functionality.
- Confirm Student Accounts: after creating their account, students must confirm their account by clicking a link in the email or text message they receive. If they don't receive or misplace that email, the account can be manually confirmed.
Accessing Bulk Actions Updates
- Log into EdReady, then click the Manage Account button
- Click on the Students tab
- Select the checkbox in front of the students you want to update
- Click the Bulk Actions button above the table
- In the pop-up window, select the action you want to complete. See the section below for more details:
Add Subject
You can use the Bulk Actions functionality to add a Subject (math or English) to students’ accounts. This is helpful for students that initially used the English-only registration link that now need to study math and vice-versa.

- Start with the "Accessing Bulk Actions Updates" instructions above, then in the pop-up window select the Add Goal option from the Actions dropdown
- Click the Ok button
- On the next screen click the “+” button for any goal you want to add to these student accounts and you will see an on-screen confirmation message.

Note that you may not see the correct value in the ‘Selected Students Already Enrolled’ column, so please ignore the displayed number. If you choose to add a goal to a student that already is enrolled, the addition will be ignored for that student and no changes will be made.
Click the Students link in the breadcrumbs to return to the main student list.
Confirm Account
Students cannot log into Texas College Bridge until they have confirmed their account. They should receive an email or text message with a link that they need to click to confirm their account. If your students do not receive or have misplaced this message and are unable to log in because of an unconfirmed account, you can update those student accounts using the Bulk Actions functionality.
- Start with the "Accessing Bulk Actions Updates" instructions above, then in the pop-up window select the Confirm Account option from the Actions dropdown
- Click the Ok button
The value will be immediately applied to the student accounts, though you may have to refresh your browser to see it reflected in the table
